Master Wholesale President Blake Adsero demonstrates how to wet drill on a stone tile with a small RockMaster Non-Coring Drill Bit. You will need two pieces of wood; one for under the stone tile, and one on top to help steady the drill bit as you start to drill in to the tile.
Start by marking the tile where you want to drill the hole. Next drill a pilot hole in the top piece of wood and line it up with the mark you made on the tile. This will be your template. Now you can change bits and start drilling with your non-coring bit. Line up your template with the mark on the tile, pour some water in the hole on the template, and start drilling. As soon as the hole is started you can remove the wood template and drill directly on the tile. Make sure to continue to add water as you drill through the tile. If you are drilling on a vertical piece of material, we sell a wet drill bit guide from Alpha Tools that delivers water to the drilling spot.
