The SlabMaster has a powerful 115 v. 18.8 Amp. 1 1/2 HP "washdown" motor. It produces a remarkable 4 1/2 ft. lbs of torque and carries a one year warranty. The blade revolves at 1725 rpm and won't slow down. even when cutting 30 mm granite in one pass. The saw operates on a v-groove track and is AUTOMATICALLY drawn down the track with a variable speed. front wheel drive motor. The drive motor allows the speed of the saw to be matched to the stone for more efficient and effective cutting. A standard 8" blade will cut 2 1/4" stone and a 7" blade will cut up to 1 3/4" deep.
The Silent Star blade. an INTERTOOL exclusive. was designed to cut fast. 3/4" Texas Pink granite 1 foot per 8 seconds. Harder granites may take a few more seconds. The multiple sandwich technology cuts chip free and the 10 mm segments are double the size of generic blades. giving extra long life (up to 50 slabs of stone).
