Hutchens HybridX Head & Neck Restraint

The Hybrid X is an incredibly stable restraint designed for the extreme conditions of a 330 mph, Nitro Funny Car. The Hybrid X uses the same NASCAR approved device with the addition of 2 additional side helmet tether and 2 front chin bar mounts. Six helmet tethers on the device attach to Four helmet mounts. A special neck collar combines to control head and neck motion in all directions.

The Hybrid X is the only SFI approved head and neck restraint with chin straps. The Hybrid X is now the most popular head and neck restraint in the NHRA Nitro Funny Car pits. The Hybrid X is also being used in Sprint Cars, monster Trucks and Off-Road.
