The new DW079KI self-leveling interior laser from DEWALTŪ is not only accurate to plus or minus 1/8 inch per 100 feet, but it's built to withstand jobsite elements. A durable rotary cage helps protect the rotary head when dropped and an innovative configuration of multiple, thin struts maintains the unit's strength while eliminating blind spots. A protective rubber over molding helps protect the laser when dropped on critical areas, and an enclosed battery door ensures easy battery removal while guaranteeing dust and water resistance. Not only does it come with DEWALTŪ 18-volt extended run-time battery and tune-up mode charger, but it will also run off any 9.6- to 18-volt DEWALTŪ battery without cords or expensive disposable batteries! And it's easy to use!
Simply turn the power on and the laser will automatically level in both horizontal and vertical modes. A "scan mode" button provides you the ability to create a laser chalk line and intuitive up and down arrow buttons allow you to transfer the line around the room. The DW079KI offers the brightest beam in the market today which can be seen up to 100 feet indoors, can be detected up to 2,000 feet outdoors, and is easily controllable with the wireless remote control or from the built in control panel. The remote features the ability to set a manual slope, a "private mode" to eliminate remote control interference between multiple users, and a stand-by mode that eliminates having to walk back to the unit to activate it.
