The FS 4800 D is a professional and very versatile floor saw for mid-size jobs. It is available in front pivot or rear pivot configurations. A rear pivot saw is recommended when manoeuvrability is key in road repairs jobs. The front pivot version is preferable for normal road sawing operations.
The tachometer/bladeshaft rpm gauge on the FS 6600 D and FS 4800 D indicates engine rpm or bladeshaft rpm. Bladeshaft rpm range is colour coded to gear selection position. On the FS 6600 D and FS 4800 D, the gearbox shift lever is used to change the output speed of the engine gearbox. Three speeds and two neutral positions are standard. The gearbox shift lever positions are colour-coded to match the blade diameter and the bladeshaft rpm decal located on the control panel. Gearbox detent locks the gearbox shift lever in position. Patent pending electric tracking system lets operator make tracking adjustments while cutting. The handles (patent pending) are easily adjusted, so the user can find the most comfortable working position.

- The front pivot version has a patent-pending electric tracking system, allowing adjustments while cutting. The rear pivot version is equipped with an electrically controlled hydraulic differential system locking rear wheels for positive traction to prevent slipping.

- Thanks to a very efficient transmission (12 belts from engine to blade), these saws offer a big 42 hp at the blade spindle, for high cutting speed and capacity.
- The 3-speed gear box further enhances the versatility of the saw.
- Equipped with single hand control and Intelliseal blade shaft. The single speed version has an electric clutch and the 3-speed version has two neutral positions in the gear box to allow saw operations without the blade rotating.
