Will this sealant work on a vinyl shower pan?
This product is only for use on the drain clamp not for welding seams together. Each manufacturer has their own glue for seaming, and you must use their product.
Is this product paintable when cured? If so, what paints are applicable?
Premier does say this is a paintable sealant but does not say what paint types are recommended. You could email them for further recommendations at [email protected]
Does this bond onto metal and how long does it take it to bond
Will this work on metal
Yes the Xtrabond 1500 adhere's to most common construction materials including metal.
Will this take high heat? 100 degrees +?
The MSDS states - Avoid temperatures above 120F. In what area are you planning on using the sealant. We may have a recommendation for a high heat sealant.
