Tec 714 Premium Cove Base Adhesive is designed for easy installation of vinyl, rubber and TPR cove base as well as for installation of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) panels over porous surfaces.

Installation:

The adhesive, cove base/panel, and room should be maintained at a minimum temperature of 65ºF for 48 hours prior to, during, and after installation.

Coverage

Coverage will vary with the application method and cove base width. Figures below are presented only as guidelines.

1/8" (3 mm) V-notch trowel	240-300 lineal feet (73-91 lineal meters) per gallon (3.78 L)
Extrusion application using a 2, 3 or 5-hole applicator nozzle	30-70 lineal feet (9-21 lineal meters) per 29 fl. oz (857 mL) cartridge

Physical Properties:

Base: Acrylic latex
Color: Tan
Physical State: Smooth, medium paste
Open Time: 15 to 20 minutes
VOC/Liter of Material: 10 g/L, less water
Freeze/Thaw Stability: Freeze/thaw stable to 10°F (-12°C) for a minimum of 5 cycles. If frozen, slowly bring material back to room temperature and stir before using.
Storage: Store in cool, dry location. Do not store open containers.
Shelf Life: Maximum 1 year from date of manufacture in properly stored, unopened package.
