Ardex TL 1400 is a high-performance, polymer-modified blend of Portland and hydraulic cements designed to smooth and level substrates prior to tile installation. Engineered for use over interior concrete, terrazzo, tile, epoxy coatings, and non-water-soluble adhesive residues, it provides an ideal flat surface for large and super-format tile and stone.
Walkable within 2–3 hours and ready for tile installation in just 6 hours, Ardex TL 1400 combines speed, strength, and reliability — the professional choice for fast-track projects.

Installation:
Mixing Ratio: 5 quarts (4.75 L) of water per 50 lb. (22.7 kg) bag
Approximate Coverage:
- 25 sq. ft. per bag at 1/4" (2.3 sq. m at 6 mm)
- Coverage will vary depending on the texture of the surface being smoothed.
Performance:

- Initial Set (ASTM C191): Approx. 30 minutes
