When cutting or grinding porcelain stoneware with a collet clamp and standard adapter, tool slipping or loosening can affect control and accuracy. Excessive tool overhang can also place additional stress on the engraver bearings. The Distar Polishing Support provides a more stable mounting solution to help address these issues.
The support is compatible with a wide range of Proxxon engravers, including LWB, LWH, WP, and other compatible models. It is designed to accommodate Distar diamond discs with 5.8 mm and 9.6 mm mounting holes, as well as Nectar and Soft Edge grinding cups with a 5.8 mm mounting hole.
The universal design also features a base for mounting flexible polishing wheels, making the adapter suitable for cutting, grinding, edge processing, and polishing applications.
