The New and Improved Laticrete PermaColor Select Grout Color Kits are color additives to be used in conjunction with PermaColor Select Grout Base or PermaColor Select Non-Sanded Grout Base.
Laticrete PermaColor Select Grout Color Kit is an innovative pigment capsule system engineered for use with PermaColor Select Grout Base and compatible Laticrete adhesives and self-leveling underlayments.
Each pigment pod delivers accurate, uniform color with perfect dosing control. The updated packaging features individual pigment pods that dissolve in water, making tinting clean, quick, and highly precise.
Use one pigment pod with the 10 lb (4.5 kg) base and two pods with the 20 lb (9.1 kg) base. Previous packaging containing two pods per carton is fully compatible with the new bases and follows the same mixing ratio.

Can I use the Old PermaColor Select Color Kit Pods with the New PermaColor Select Base?
Yes! The Old Color Kit pods Can be used with the New PermaColor Select base and vice versa — the New PermaColor Select Color Kit pods are identical in the amount of pigment, just in a new package.
Installation:
Before starting to grout, remove spacers and debris in grout joints and remove dust and dirt using a wet sponge. Do not leave water standing in joints. Note: when grouting in hot weather refer to TDS 176 Hot Weather Tiling and Grouting. Substrate temperature must be between 40°F (4°C) and 90°F (32°C). Apply grout release or sealer if necessary. Refer to TDS 400 Grout Guide for more information on grouting.
Performance:
- Pot Life: 45–60 min at 70°F (21°C)
- Final Set: 3 – 4 hrs
- Heavy Foot Traffic: 6 hrs
