The Roberts 3000 Multipurpose Adhesive is a high-performance SBR latex flooring adhesive formulated for both residential and commercial installations. Designed to handle a variety of flooring materials, it provides reliable bonding performance for carpet, sheet vinyl, and cork underlayment applications.
This solvent-free adhesive is compatible with mineral- and felt-backed sheet vinyl, latex foam-backed carpet, needle-punched carpet, jute, polypropylene secondary-backed carpet, and unfinished cork underlayment. It bonds effectively to a wide range of substrates including concrete (on and above grade), APA-rated plywood, and acoustic cork underlayment.
Roberts 3000 offers excellent installation flexibility with approximately 60 minutes of open time and up to 90 minutes of working time, allowing installers to accurately position materials before the adhesive sets. Once installed, the adhesive cures fully in approximately 24 hours.
Enhanced with Microban antimicrobial protection, the adhesive helps prevent the growth of mold, mildew, and odor-causing bacteria that may affect product performance over time. The environmentally friendly formula contains zero VOC and is nonflammable, making it a safe option for indoor use.
With coverage of up to 180 square feet per gallon depending on installation conditions, Roberts 3000 provides a dependable, easy-to-use solution for professional flooring installations.
