Schluter DITRA-PS Peel and Stick Uncoupling Membrane

Schluter DITRA-PS is the original DITRA uncoupling membrane in a self-adhesive format. A pressure-sensitive adhesive on the fleece side bonds it straight to the subfloor, so no thin-set is needed under the membrane. It gives the same uncoupling, load distribution, waterproofing and vapor management as DITRA, with less labor, less cleanup and no wait before tiling.

Choose a 7.75 sq. ft. sheet for small areas and repairs, or a 110 or 269 sq. ft. roll for full rooms.

• Peel and stick - bonds to concrete, plywood and OSB (including AdvanTech) without mortar underneath; can also go over many existing floor coverings
• Uncoupling - absorbs movement between substrate and tile to help prevent cracked tile and grout
• Waterproofing - protects the substrate when seams and transitions are sealed with KERDI-BAND
• Vapor management - open channels on the underside let moisture and vapor escape
• Load distribution - mortar-filled cavities carry loads down to the substrate

Specifications

Installation Tips

1. The substrate must be clean, even and load-bearing; remove anything that could stop the bond.
2. On difficult-to-bond substrates, prime first with Schluter PRIMER-PS.
3. Remove the release liner, lay the membrane fleece side down and press it in with a float, screed trowel or DITRA-ROLLER for full contact.
4. Butt the ends and sides of neighboring pieces; seal seams with KERDI-BAND where waterproofing is needed.

• Schluter KERDI-BAND - for sealing seams and transitions
• Schluter ALL-SET or SET mortar - for setting tile over the membrane
