Distar Glider 45 is a guided cutting tool designed to help tile professionals produce consistent miter cuts on porcelain and ceramic tile. It attaches directly to compatible 4.5" – 5" (115–125 mm) angle grinders using a universal gearbox attachment, providing a guided alternative to freehand bevel cutting.

The adjustable cutting system accommodates tile thicknesses up to 14 mm and is designed for tile lengths from 600 mm to 3600 mm. This makes the Glider 45 suitable for both standard installations and large-format tile projects where consistent bevel cuts are required.

An integrated adjustable dust extraction system supports cleaner dry-cutting operations when connected to a compatible vacuum. The scratch-resistant base helps protect the visible tile surface during cutting, which is particularly useful when working with polished or high-gloss porcelain.

The Glider 45 can also be reversed and used on a stable table surface for cutting smaller tile pieces. Its approximately 50–52° cutting geometry can help reduce the need for additional grinding when preparing mitered tile edges for corner installations.
