Laticrete 9235 Waterproofing Membrane: Tile, Stone and Brick Waterproofing

Laticrete 9235 Waterproofing Membrane is a thin, load-bearing, flexible liquid-applied waterproofing system designed for ceramic tile, natural stone, and brick installations. The cold-applied liquid rubber polymer combines with an integral reinforcing fabric to form a seamless membrane for demanding waterproofing applications.

The membrane is designed for both interior and exterior use on horizontal, vertical, and ceiling surfaces. It is particularly suited for wet areas and applications involving continuous water submersion, providing a waterproof barrier beneath tile, stone, and brick finishes.

9235 Waterproofing Membrane cures to approximately 0.02" (0.5 mm) and also provides antifracture protection over shrinkage and other non-structural cracks up to 1/8" (3 mm). Its Extra Heavy Service rating under TCNA performance levels, based on the ASTM C627 Robinson Floor Test, supports use in demanding tile installation environments.

Application is straightforward using a paint brush or long-nap roller, with no special mixing or application equipment required. The membrane normally cures within hours, allowing tile, brick, and stone to be installed directly over the finished membrane. The formulation contains no solvents, is non-flammable, and can be cleaned with water while fresh.
