Laticrete Hydro Ban Cementitious Waterproofing Membrane is a one-component, polymer-fortified, cement-based waterproofing material designed for wet-area applications. It mixes with water and forms a waterproof membrane suitable for walls and floors in demanding environments.

The membrane can handle both positive and negative hydrostatic pressure up to 2 bar (29 PSI) when applied at a 40 mil (1 mm) thickness. It exceeds ANSI A118.10 waterproofing requirements and can be flood tested within 2 hours at temperatures of 70°F (21°C) or higher, helping streamline project schedules.

Hydro Ban Cementitious Waterproofing Membrane is suitable for swimming pools, water features, fountains, balconies, terraces over unoccupied space, and partially tiled pool applications such as waterlines, tiled swimming lanes, and tiled targets. It can also be used beneath pool plasters.

The membrane does not require fabric for standard applications and has an approximately 80-minute pot life. Its rapid-drying formulation allows tile, brick, and stone to be installed directly over the membrane after proper curing. The product is also rated for Extra Heavy Service according to TCNA performance levels based on the ASTM C627 Robinson Floor Test.
