The Roberts 1550 MAXCOMPLETE Polyurethane Wood Flooring Adhesive is a high-performance, moisture-cured urethane adhesive engineered for professional installation of engineered wood, solid hardwood, parquet, and bamboo flooring. Its advanced single-component formulation functions as a complete 3-in-1 system, providing strong adhesive bonding while also delivering moisture protection, crack-bridging capabilities, and sound reduction benefits.
This versatile adhesive is designed to bond securely to a wide variety of subfloor surfaces including APA / PSI-95 rated plywood, hardwood, underlayment-grade oriented strand board (OSB), primed gypsum-based subfloors, radiant-heated slabs, rubber sports flooring, and properly prepared ceramic tile surfaces.
Roberts 1550 MAXCOMPLETE offers up to 60 minutes of open and working time, allowing installers sufficient flexibility for proper flooring placement and adjustment. Once installed, the adhesive cures in approximately 24 hours and flooring can typically be sanded after 18 hours.
For installations where moisture mitigation is not required, the adhesive can be applied using a 1/4 in. flat V-notch trowel. When moisture protection is needed, a 1/4 in. x 3/16 in. Tiger Tooth trowel is recommended to achieve the proper coverage and performance.
With a coverage rate of up to 40 square feet per gallon and a low-odor formula with VOC levels below 15 g/L, Roberts 1550 MAXCOMPLETE provides a reliable, environmentally conscious solution for professional wood flooring installations.
