The Wedi S-DRY Bonding Flange Drain is a high-performance drain solution engineered for mortar bed shower floor assemblies that are topically waterproofed with S-DRY membrane systems. Designed for integrated use within the S-DRY Shower System, this drain provides secure, long-lasting waterproof performance in both residential and commercial applications.

The drain features a thermally fused membrane-to-flange connection, eliminating concerns about delamination and ensuring reliable waterproofing at one of the most critical connection points. A pressure-fit design allows direct connection to ABS or PVC waste pipes cut flush to the floor, while the low-profile drain body extends only 3/4 in. into the subfloor—ideal for installations where pipes are positioned near floor joists.

Included spacers allow adjustment for dry pack mortar thicknesses ranging from 1/2 in. to 1 1/2 in., and the integrated support system stabilizes the flange at various installation heights. The drain cover accommodates tile thicknesses from 3/16 in. to 5/8 in. and provides 1/4 in. lateral movement in all directions, simplifying alignment with tile and grout layouts.

With minimal thinset required in the drain cover area and a 2-part cementitious waterproofing compound bonding the membrane to the flange, the system reduces moisture buildup and enhances drying efficiency—delivering dependable performance and refined finishing results.
